As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, KHYF depends on generous donors like you to operate our sailing and community outreach programs throughout the year.  These funds are necessary so that we may offer sailing instruction to as many children as possible and offer scholarships to those in need.  In addition to safety equipment, we have a sizeable fleet of over 35 boats and 8 trailers that need regular maintenance or replacement after years of use or damage from major winter storms.  ​Safety is our top priority to ensure each sailor has the best possible experience on the water. 

Here are ways your donations help us:
  • Expand classes year-round to all levels of sailors aged 7-18 
  • Supply sailors with boats and safety equipment at no additional charge
  • Purchase new equipment to keep sailors competitive at regattas
  • Offer Scholarships to more students in need each season
  • Increase the number of events/participants in our New Channels community outreach program​
