The FJ (Flying Junior) is the standard boat for high school and collegiate sailing on the West Coast. As a double-handed boat, is an ideal way for two people to work together as a team and learn to sail. In addition to high-intensity training with consisent practices, students learn the importance of communication for increased competitiveness so they can be prepared to race on future race teams. Practice will be geared toward racing, but may also include traning of new crew members when necessary.
